Beaverhead Rock State Park Beaverhead Rock is a large landmark that was noticed by Sacagawea, while traveling with the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1805. The Rock is said to look like the head of a swimming beaver. The site can be viewed from a distance, but it is not directly accessible. The Park is located 14 miles south from Twin Bridges.
