The Missouri Headwaters State Park is where visitors can see the convergence of the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin Rivers. This is an undeveloped park which has a small campground, picnic sites and short hiking trails.
Known as Montana's first and most popular State Park, the Lewis and Clark Caverns offer spectacular limestone caverns. The caves are lined with stalagmites, helicitites and columns, allowing the visitor to experience the various stages of development in an underground world. Two-hour guided tours of the caves are offered, as well as a large campground and numerous hiking trails.
