    Melville Church
    Surrounded by prairies and the foothills of the Crazy Mountains, this century-old church is a sweet one-room, clapboard structure which has been featured in national magazines and is a popular venue for small weddings with a western flair. Located in the small community of Melville north of Big Timber.

    Historic St. Mary's Mission
    Established in 1841, Historic St. Mary's Mission became the first permanent white settlement in Montana. Viist preserved buildings and observe artifacts from this old mission.

    St. Francis Xavier Church Missoula
    The St. Francis Xavier Church of Missoula was built in 1889, the same year that Montana became a state. This church is known for its steeple, paintings and stained glass. Mass occurs at 8 am Monday to Saturday, and on Sundays at various times throughout the day.

    St. Helena Cathedral
    The Cathedral of St. Helena was constructed at the turn of the 20th century and is an example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral features stained-glass windows, white marble altars and marble statues. Daily mass occurs in the cathedral at various times. Prearranged guided tours take one hour or visitors can view the Cathedral anytime between 7:15am and 6pm.

    St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Butte
    The Lawrence O'Toole Church was built in 1897 through donations of miners and their families living in Butte at the time. With hand-carved alters, oak confessionals and forty frescoes on the ceiling, the Church is a delightful stop while in Butte.

    St. Ignatius Mission
    Built in the early 1890s, the St. Ignatius Mission is a unique Catholic Church. The walls and ceilings are decorated with 61 original paintings by Brother Joseph Carignano. There is a museum and gift shop located next to the Mission. Sunday mass occurs at 9:15 a.m.
