Conrad Mansion Charles Conrad is the founder of Kalispell and his 1895 mansion remains one of the most stately homes in Kalispell. The mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Featuring 26 rooms that maintain the original furnishings, the mansion is 13,000 square feet. A one-hour guided tour is offered from May until October. Original Governor's Mansion Helena This stately Queen Anne style mansion was built in 1888 and was home to many influential families in Helena before it became the Governor's Mansion in 1913. Copper King Mansion Built for one of the principle developers of copper in Butte between 1884 and 1888 for an enormous cost of $260,000, the Copper King Mansion allows visitors to experience Victorian elegance. Stained glass windows, frescoed ceilings and antique furnishings are featured in the Mansion. Guided tours are given May through September by Mansion staff. Charles W. Clark Chateau Museum This chateau is the the former mansion of Charles Walker Clark, son of one of Butte's so-called copper kings. The 26-room mansion was built in 1898 and now houses an art museum on one floor and a diverse collection of furniture, textiles and collectibles throughout the chateau.
