Red Lodge All Galleries
Located in the historic train depot in Red Lodge, the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery features three galleries of regional art ranging from contemporary to western works. The depot also features special exhibits, workshops and student art. Open daily, free admission.
Northern Plains artist Kevin Red Star has two galleries, along with his studio, in Red Lodge and Roberts which showcase his art of traditional and modern Native American art. Original paintings, prints and the works of other artists are also available at both galleries.
Specializing in wildlife art, Dale Marie Muller is a Red Lodge-based artist capturing the area's creatures in oil and graphite fine art. Prints available.
The Red Lodge Clay Center is a fine arts gallery showcasing sculpture and pottery by regional and national artists. In addition to several regular exhibits, the center highlights a featured artist every month and workshops, classes and a residency program are also available to interested artists. Open to the public.
The Charles Ringer Studio & Gallery is an artist-run gallery specializing in kinetic steel sculptures. The gallery is located between Red Lodge and Billings in the small town of Joliet and is open seasonally or by appointment.
This gallery north of Red Lodge specializes in photographic arts and showcases the work of several regional photographers. The gallery regularly features new shows as well as photography classes and workshops. Open Wednesday through Sunday or by appointment at other times.
Common Ground is an art gallery and gift shop featuring a wide range of western art. From sculpture and photography to watercolor landscapes and sterling silver jewelry, the gallery showcases one-of-a-kind pieces by known artists. A selection of greeting cards, candles and carvings is also available.
