Frontier Montana Museum The Frontier Montana Museum houses two of the finest collections of Western memorabilia. The collection includes many different types of guns including the Colt Lightning Pistol made by Billy the Kid. Yesterday's Playthings Museum Yesterday's Playthings Museum features over 1,000 dolls of all descriptions and sizes. The dolls range from china dolls from 1860 to modern day Barbie and GI Joe. The MLEM was created, owned, and operated by Montana's criminal justice professional associations to collect, preserve and publicly display the historical artifacts and memorabilia of Montana's rich law enforcement history.
